Welcome to the BRAND NEW KBRACKETT.COM! For those of you who know me you know I’m not real big on change that involves me learning one single new thing about technology (thus the Nokia flip phone that I will carry until I die)…lol!  But because I have the most AMAZING and GIFTED webmaster who is very patient with technology challenged folks like me here it is and I hope you love it as much as I do!

It was so fun for me to go back through the thousands of pictures that I have been blessed to capture over the past 6 years and choose some of my very favorite to put in the intro slideshow and the galleries.   Kim Estes is my webmaster and dear friend and God graciously brought her into my life over 10 years ago.  She picked the song for the intro slide show and even though I only listen to Christian music, surprisingly I had never heard “Blessings”, or of Laura Story.

When I finished the slideshow and watched it for the first time all the way through I knew God had Kim choose the perfect song for my website and I realized how the words to the song could not be more perfect for where so many of us are in our journey with God right now.  I hope that you will take four minutes out of your life to not only look at the pictures but more importantly to listen to the anointed words of the song Blessing.

When you look at the pictures in the intro video you may see something completely different than I do because I know most of the stories behind the photograph…the joy and the heartache, the divorce and the restored marriage, the life and the death, the tears and the laughter, the sickness and the healing, the sin and the grace, the answered prayers and the unanswered ones, the struggles and ultimately the victory!  The captured moment of these photographs is a moment of time, but it’s the moments that you don’t see in the picture that makes us who we are.  Some of you are on the mountaintop right now, and some are in a valley and I dare say some of us wonder if we will ever get out of the valley that God has allowed us in His sovereignty to be in.  I can tell you, that all I know is that there will be blessings…through tears, through raindrops, through life and death…there will always be blessings because that is the promise of our Almighty God!

I want to thank you all  for the gift of capturing some of your beautiful God Moments, but more importantly I want to graciously thank you all for the undeserved blessing of sharing in your lives and in this earthly  journey with you as we long for eternity ~ each and every one of you are my blessings.

“I love you forever I like you for always, as long as I’m living my baby you’ll be.”  That book pretty much sums up my heart in regards to this album.  On Landon’s wall is painted, “I prayed for this child, and the Lord granted me what I asked of Him.  So now I give Landon to the Lord.  For His whole life He will be given over to the Lord.”  1 Samuel 1:27-28.  Even as a little child everywhere we went people would stop us and say, “He is so beautiful!”  And he was…and is…and I pray that every ounce of Landon’s heart and soul and mind will be beautiful for the Lord.  He belongs to the Lord, and I don’t have any idea why God graciously chose me to be His earthly Mom, but I never want to forget to say “THANK YOU GOD for your beautiful son Landon…I pray that You will give me Your wisdom and strength to love and guide Him in Your path of righteousness and grace and love.”  I love you Landon Kyle…forever!

There are times when you wish you could rewind your life…when you wish you could do things over and fix the mistakes you made along the way.  It doesn’t work like that unfortunately.  BUT…God, is a God of grace and forgiveness and restoration…another reason that I love Him so much.  When I look at these pictures it is a reminder that God does give us second chances.  He allowed me the humble blessing of having the mother of these beautiful children give me a second chance at a godly and holy friendship.  When you look at this album you will see three incredible gorgeous children, all different in so many ways, but all so beautiful and filled with God’s Spirit.  I see that too, but I also see God smiling as He knows this is His gift of forgiveness in my life.  I thank Him for the visual reminder that second-chance friendships can bless your life more than you ever realized.  THANK YOU GOD, for your gift of Heather…and her precious children that call her Mommy…and for our restored friendship that I know you ordained from the beginning of time.  I love you…

These pictures of your family represent to me the quote, “Never give up!”…no matter what life throws at you, ask God for courage and strength and then FIGHT…for your family and your children and for LOVE!  This is just ONE of the many things you have modeled for me!  When I look at these pictures sweet friend I see a woman who is the reason that I have a blessed and successful “photography business”.  I see an intelligent amazing talented friend who inspires and gives and gives and gives.  I see a woman who’s children are blessed to call Mom and a husband who is blessed to call wife, soul mate and best friend.  I pray that God will continue to bless you and ALL your precious children as you have blessed others.  Love you dear friend…thank you for all that you’ve done in my life that I can never repay.

I can’t ever decide what my favorite kind of shoot is…but I know that I love love love capturing “real” moments of God’s children…the ones that make you laugh and smile and yes, even cry.  I love that children never stop…especially when they are two!  They are little energizer bunnies and Jade was no different!   We worked really hard for these amazing, beautiful, fun, precious pictures and it was worth every second…because I have to believe when her beautiful mommy saw them, they brought every imaginable emotion to her heart!  That’s just one reason I am blessed beyond words and love what God has given me to do ~ may all my photographs honor Him in every way because my camera is simply capturing HIS beauty…HIS life…HIS blessings…HIS children.

Robsie Robsie Robsie!  :)  What a great ending to your senior year!  Had a BLAST with you and Zacky during your shoot!  You are such a joy and such an amazing man of God and I could not be more blessed to call you friend!  Thank you for your radical obedience to God in everything you do and the life that you live.  You inspire so many people, including me and I pray that God will allow us the huge blessing  of going back to Africa again SOON to see the sweet kiddos there that we love so much!!  Can’t wait to see what God has in store for you!  I know He’s already using you to change the world!  LOVE YOU!

It’s not everyday that someone REALLY does get to marry their prince charming but Mrs. Bailey Winters did!  I’m pretty sure every girl in Clyde America at one time or another wanted to marry Zack Winters but Bailey, you conquered all and won the prince!  :)  YOU made a beautiful bride and I pray that God will anoint you always and fill you with His Spirit so you can now, also be the most beautiful godly wife.  You and Zack are blessed…never ever forget that every single blessing, every single moment of your life together comes from Him.  Honor Him and glorify Him in your marriage and in the love you have for each other.  Praying for you both…and love you both so much!  Thank you for the incredible humble blessing of capturing these special bridal memories for you…I am blessed…  :)

What a pleasure it was to spend the afternoon with you Blane!  As a mom who has been blessed to minister to teenagers for the past 6 years, it was a blessing for me to listen to your heart and to be encouraged that there are some young men left out there who love the Lord and who aren’t just living for their selfish fleshly desires.  Thank you for living a life that gives me hope for this generation!  I pray that you will stay close to God and that you will fervently seek His will in everything you do.  He has great plans for you Mr. Blane Marshall Furgeson and it will be joy to see His plan for your life unfold as you live for Him!  Thank you for allowing me the blessing of capturing your last high school memories for you and your mom!  :)
